I got a little sidelined this week working at a freelance job, I had no idea what it was going to be until I showed up to the venue, the job involved setting up for a video taping of Semi Homemade with Sandra Lee. People were running all around organizing and setting up the "tablescapes." Looking around and seeing her face everywhere on posters and product packaging it amazed me to see up close how an individual can also be a brand, it's so weird to think about. It must be a lot of pressure to seem like such a perfect person. The people we worked for were so nice though, the boss told us to take breaks now and then and he even let us go to lunch at 12, it blew my mind. I've worked a lot of other jobs where that doesn't happen.
